I’m just me.
Your heart so pure,
Your love smooth like the winds
When I’m away from you,

This guy right here is my rock, and I appreciate everything he’s ever done for me. Here is a little poem I just found that I think shows some appreciation.
Armour
Here I stand, releasing the armour that was once nailed into my bones. Releasing the idea that I can either be kind and used, or mean and protected.
Because here I am. My armour down- my heart exposed, and for the first time, I don’t feel afraid.
For the first time, I am showing my skin- happy that it’s vulnerable, but confident in it’s ability to heal.
But maybe it was never about the armour.
Maybe it was about the people I was letting into my home.
